How do I know if and when to replace my batteries?
Batteries in all ISG products are items that should be replaced regularly. Battery life is a complex issue and is affected by many factors including charging and discharging patterns, use in extremely high- and low-temperature environments, age of the battery, and storage temperature to name a few. You can test your battery by fully charging the battery and then determining how long it lasts in your camera. When operated at room temperature, a standard K90 without a pyrometer or video overlay should run for ~4 hours on a single battery charge. The pyrometer feature will reduce that by ~10% to ~3.5 hours. If your battery is only allowing 75 – 80% or expected runtime, you should consider getting new batteries. Additionally, it is a good idea to replace your batteries at least every two years.

Why do I need to use only ISG-supplied batteries in my TIC?
ISG verifies the design of the batteries to meet the specific requirements of our TICs. If you use a battery that does not come from ISG, it may not work and may, in a worst-case scenario, damage your TIC or cause it to fail while in use. Additionally, failures related to batteries not purchased from ISG are not covered by either your original or your extended warranty.
